FOR THIS CONCEPT WE LOOK TO THE NAME STARZ.
STARZ SHOULD BE REPRESENTED AS A SOPHISTICATED LINE OF BEAUTY PRODUCTS YET AFFORDABLE IN TODAY’S ECONOMY. THIS SHOULD BE DONE BY THE USE OF COLOR AND INTRICATE IMAGERY THAT WILL DRAWL THE CONSUMER IN WHILE EXCITING THEM WITH AFFORDABLE PRICES.
WE LOOK TO THE NAME IN REFERENCE TO STARS IN THE SKY. BY USING NATURE AND OUTER SPACE AS OUR INSPIRATION WE ARE ABLE TO COME UP WITH A SOLID DIRECTION FOR OUR LOGO, PACKAGING, POSTER ART AND COLOR USAGE.
STARS IN THE SKY AS A CONCEPT WILL ALLOW US TO ESTABLISH A BRAND OUTSIDE OF ANY THAT IS CURRENTLY OUT THERE. WE ARE ABLE TO REFERENCE ACTUAL STARS IN THE SKY WHILE CREATING CLEAVER PACKAGING, POSTER AND PACKAGING DESIGN.
FURTHERMORE NAMING INDIVIDUAL PRODUCTS LENDS ITSELF TO OUR CONCEPT OF “STARS IN THE SKY”. INDIVIDUAL LIPSTICK COULD BE GIVEN NAMES LIKE “SUPERNOVA” AND BE CATEGORIZED UNDER A LINE OF HOT LIPSTICK COLORS DISPLAYED AS A “ROCKSTARZ” LINE OF PRODUCTS.
THIS COULD ALSO BE SHOWN BY A LINE OF PRODUCTS CALLED “THE MILKY WAY” FEATURING MINERAL MAKEUP THAT WILL “GIVE YOU THAT MILKY CREAMY LOOK WITH A FLAWLESS FINISH”.
THIS CONCEPT ALSO LENDS ITSELF TO BEING EXPANDED AT SOME POINT. ONE IDEA WE HAD WAS TO GIVE THE STARZ LINE A “GOOD GIRL” “BAD GIRL” PRODUCT LINE WHERE ONE DIRECTION HAS A VERY EDGY, DARK, MOODY FEEL (BAD GIRL). THE OTHER LINE MIGHT HAVE A HAPPIER LOOK AND FEEL WITH BRIGHTER COLORS (GOOD GIRL). NAMES WILL FOLLOW THE CONCEPT. ROCKSTARZ BAD GIRLS WILL HAVE NAMES LIKE SUPERNOVA AND DARK MATTER. SUPERSTARZ GOOD GIRL LINE WILL HAVE NAMES LIKE NOVA AND STARLIGHT…
BY BREAKING DOWN THE BRAND INTO TWO MAJOR CATEGORIES WE WILL BE ABLE TO CATEGORIZE COLORS (DARK COLORS FOR ROCKSTARZ) AS WELL AS CAPTURE BOTH SIDES OF THE MARKET.
THE LOOK AND FEEL OF OUR BRANDING SHOULD GIVE THE FEELING OF A QUALITY PRODUCT IN ORDER TO BRING THE CUSTOMER IN. WE WILL SEPARATE OUR BRANDING BY BEING AFFORDABLE WITH A HIGH-END LOOK.
WITH THE USE OF STAR CONCEPT WE ARE ABLE TO ESTABLISH A QUALITY BRAND THAT WILL BE IDENTIFIABLE FOR ANY CONSUMER.
